Dawlish Women's 1st XI. 0

ASHMOOR started strongly against Dawlish Women’s 1s with top goal scorer Tilly McEwen giving them an early lead with a well-executed penalty corner.

Emmie Buckman and Emily Hunter struck to put them in a commanding position heading into the break.

Second-half scores from McEwen and Buckman followed by resolute defending helped see out the victory and leaves Ashmoor in a comfortable position in top spot.

Ashmoor Men's 3rd XI. 1

The much-anticipated “Ashmoor Derby” between the 2nd and 3rd teams delivered everything you’d expect from an inter-club clash: goals, drama, and enough banter to fill a season’s worth of WhatsApp chats.

2nd XI captain Tyrone France wasted no time opening the scoring in the fourth minute and Reuben Stanley doubled the tally just minutes later.

Dan Cowdry then struck in the 11th minute, using his predatory instincts to tap in from close range. Matt Pearce rounded off the half with a cracking strike to make it 4-0 at halftime.

Ollie Brown’s cheeky lob, after strong work from Harry Easthope, got the 3rd team on the board.

The 2nd XI responded and began to turn the screw though, Cowdry scoring three more, Pearce two and Morgan Stokes also getting involved.

Ashmoor 2s march on hunting promotion, undefeated and top of the league. This weekend they host Exeter University who lie just behind on second. Meanwhile, the Men's 3rd team travel to face North Devon, and the 4th team play Isca.
