DAWLISH Bowling Club held their annual Sefton Cup competition, running from Monday August 5 to Sunday 11.

All members could enter and the tournament works on a knockout basis, with everyone being just as friendly as they are competitive.

With some great games along the way, Ken Brimacombe, Steve Brown, Kevin Gibbins and Tony White were the final four.

Ken beat Steve 21-12 and Kevin beat Tony 21-10 in the semi-finals and the weather was then ideal for the final on Sunday.

After a back-and-forth affair which began with Ken going six shots ahead, men’s captain Ken prevailed 21-10 with a great crowd in attendance, showing their support.

The club hope for many more memorable moments in the Sefton Cup for years to come.
