For most gulls, it’s not flying that matters, but eating. For this gull, though, it was reading.

That was certainly the case for the inquisitive gull that visited Teignmouth library on Tuesday (July 2).

While the librarians were impressed by the gull’s fully fledged eagerness to find something to read, they were less enthused by the mess it left.

And they were so busy ejecting their first feathered visitor that they forgot to take a photo. So, one enterprising member of staff took to photoshop to give a bird’s eye view of the eventful afternoon.
