While the flight displays take centre stage on Saturday afternoon (July 6), there’s plenty of entertainment all weekend with live music and a fun fair. The fun starts with the silent disco on Thursday evening. There’s a tribute band on Friday evening and a classic car show on Sunday. Plus, live music all day on the Saturday.

Flight Display Times

1pm: RAF Red Arrows

2pm: Gazelle Squadron

2:30pm: Team Raven

3:15pm: Jubilee Pitts

4:15pm: The Starlings

5:15pm: RAF Typhoon

There will be no RAF Lancaster Bomber as all Battle of Britain Memorial Flights were grounded in May following the tragic Spitfire accident at RAF Coningsby.

Further information is in the event programme, designed by artist Laura Wall. Programmes are sold in local shops until Friday and will then be available to buy from the event information point in the red gazebo on the Den or on the seafront near the pier.

Parking is likely to be tight on airshow day as there will be road closures and parking suspensions in the town centre. Event organisers recommend arriving on foot or by public transport wherever possible. Less able visitors will be able to use the blue badge drop-off point at South View. The best car parks to use are the East Cliff or behind Morrisons, where visitors can pre-book a space.

‘Don’t forget to plan for the weather and bring sunscreen and plenty of water. Water refill points will be available,’ suggested Teignmouth Airshow event director Amy Furlong. ‘We hope everyone has a great time. While the airshow is free to attend, it’s not free to put on and it costs around £95,000,’ she added.

‘We are the only volunteer, self-funded airshow in Europe so we are very grateful for all donations made by visitors and supporters and we’re extremely grateful to our event sponsors who enable us to put on this event,’ said Teignmouth Airshow chair Dave Matthews.

We're looking forward to seeing everyone at the Teignmouth Airshow.
It is sure to be an exciting few days but when large groups of people gather it is always important to think of others around you.
We're going to have extra patrols throughout the weekend and we will be working alongside event security and volunteer marshals to ensure that everybody has a fun and safe time. Disruptive and anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated.
Remember, if you are heading out to watch the live music performances tomorrow, under 18Õs must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to enter the event arena, bag searches will be taking place on entry and only alcohol brought from the designated event bars is permitted within the licenced area of the arena.
We'll see you there!
