Visitors to Teignmouth Airshow are being urged to pre-book one of the 400 available car parking spaces if they are planning to arrive by car.

This is the first year visitors have been able to reserve parking for the airshow. In previous years car parks have reached capacity.

Due to the pressure on parking availability and traffic congestion on routes into the town, organisers are recommending that visitors should try to arrive on foot or by public transport wherever possible.

Parking for the airshow is available on the playing field behind Morrisons, just off the Bishopsteignton road. Pre-booked parking costs £12 and includes an event programme on arrival. Parking can be booked here.

For those paying on the day, parking will cost £10, cash only, but this does not include a programme and is subject to availability.

The car park, which is manned by volunteers from the 4th Teignmouth Scout Group, is open from 8am until 8pm on the Saturday of the airshow.

There is no town centre parking available for visitors to the airshow on the Saturday (July 6).
