Ashmoor had the bare XI for the first half but were strong at the back and continued with the form they have demonstrated all season. Ashmoor were unlucky on their defensive goal line and Ocean City were awarded a penalty stroke.
Goalkeeper Ella Reade made a great save, but the flick was ordered to be retaken as she was deemed to be too quick off the line. This time the Ocean City striker scored to put the home side 1-0 up.
After the break, Ashmoor were keen to get a well-deserved goal and after some lovely play from the back Tilly McEwen passed the ball to Emmy Buckman at the top of the D and she fired it into the goal to draw the scores level at 1-1.
Ashmoor kept it tidy at the back but were unable to create another chance and it finished 1-1. After an incredible season, Ashmoor ladies were happy to keep their whole season unbeaten record and secure promotion.
