THIS year, the first team and third team players at Newton Abbot Spurs FC have decided to spread some Christmas cheer with top club sponsors Be Happy at Home.

Using their fine money, they have provided a selection of gifts for the group to help in the community.

Be Happy at Home provide compassionate in-home care, dementia care and live-in care across South Devon and the surrounding areas, and so Spurs couldn’t be prouder to support them and their clients, during a time of year that can be so difficult for some people.

Pictured is first team captain Lewis Breslan handing over the gifts to the Be Happy at Home management team.

Merry Christmas to everyone from all at Newton Abbot Spurs!

ELSEWHERE, Bovey Tracey AFC are giving anyone and everyone the chance to get involved a very exciting competition.

December 31 is the deadline for their kit design competition which allows people to put their creative skills to good use and create the new home and away strips for next season.

People in and around the club can pick up a template from the club or from their team manager whilst alternatively, it is available for all to download it from the website.

Simply create your design, include your name, contact number and, if you’re a player, the team you play for, with entries to be displayed in the clubhouse. Emails to be sent to [email protected].

Get involved and have some fun during this festive period!
