GOLDEN Lion “Lads” continue to lead the way in the Mid-Devon Darts League A-Division, boasting an impressive record of 13 wins from 14.

British Legion (NA) and Sharpy’s Bar A meanwhile both have 12 wins and three defeats to their name, sitting on 68 and 65 points respectively.

That trio have a comfortable advantage over the chasing pack whilst Ship (Chud) “T26 Filos”, RBL (K’Ton) C and Rec Heads have some catching up to do.

75 is the leading score in B-Division as well, belonging to Ship (Chud) “Outsiders” who have won 14 games. Locomotive Inn with 13 wins and Golden Lion “Grahams” with 11 come next in what is a pretty tight league from top to bottom.

A sizable differential, from 79 points at the top to 30 at the bottom, makes for a more spread-out landscape in C-League.

Park Inn are at 14-3 as opposed to the Ipplepen Con Club “Originals” record of 13-4 and yet it is the latter who lead, currently sitting five points ahead. Newtons B and British Legion (NA) “Red Arrows” come next with 72pts and 70pts respectively.

Chudleigh Con Club “Lads” have to be the most impressive team in the whole league at the time of writing, winning 17 from 17 and boasting a whopping 94 points as a result in D-League.

Highweek Inn are doing very well themselves with 15 wins from 17 yet they still have a 15-point deficit to the leaders. At the other end, four points separates the bottom three of Nellies Heroes, Palk Arms and White Hart (BFL) A.

One point stands between E-League’s leading duo, Saracens Assegais on 72 ahead of British Legion (NA) “Misfits” on 71.

The NA&D ladies league is just as tight with Chudleigh Con Club “Globals” on top with 154 points and British Legion “Ladies” hot on their coattails with 153.

The AGM for the NA Summer League is set for 19:30 on March 19 at the British Legion (Newton Abbot).
