THE Bitton Park Bowling Club men’s second team have had a remarkable recovery in the second half of the league season.

After the first seven league games the team had recorded only one win, for a total of 18 points. Relegation was looking certain, yet the team managed to win six of the following seven games to score 80 for a final total of 98.

Although results for opposing teams are still to be recorded, it is pretty certain that they have avoided relegation!

If the team can repeat this form over the full season next year, promotion will be assured.
