TEIGNMOUTH & Shaldon slipped into the B Division bottom two after suffering a nine-wicket pasting by co-worriers Clyst St George.
Teignmouth & Shaldon have replaced Clyst St George as tenants in ‘Relegation Row’, but with just eight points between CSG (177pts), Bovey 2nd XI (171) and T&D (163) the situation remains fluid.
Ollie Manning and Steve Bourke softened-up T&S with two wickets each as they laboured to 25 for five. Harrison Linnett (23) and Carl Woolnough (22) fashioned a mini fightback, but once they went it was downhill all the way to 109 all out.
Nathan Wells put the skids under T&S’s lower order with a four-for-26 return.
Clyst’s only casualty on the chase was skipper Dan Kendall for 18 with the score on 23.
Chris Ferro (22no) and man-of-the-match Wells (56no) knocked-off the rest of the target without mishap.
