IT was a quieter week at Bovey Tracey Bowls Club and so there are fewer matches to report on.

On Saturday the club held its drawn triples competition with nine teams playing four games each during the day with the best two teams progressing to a final.

This produced an exciting finish with Kath Callard's team scoring three on the last end to force a draw and an extra-end decider which was won by Sue Johnson's team of herself, Julie Chew and Kevin Addey. They received the winner's trophy from the President, Margaret Bolt.
