REPAIRS have been completed to sections of the sea wall at Dawlish damaged by Storm Ciaran.
The section between Coastguard’s and Red Rock, Langstone, has now reopened this week engineering teams replaced of repairs 32 coping stones – the large stones along the edge of the wall – which weigh around 2.5 tonnes each.
A number of these were on the Teignmouth side of the sea wall, where the damaged section between Smugglers Cove and Sprey Point was reopened late last year.
