A GLITCH with the BBC Weather app led to an incorrect forecast of a hurricane in Bovey Tracey.

BBC Weather has been made aware of the fault and is working to fix the problem.

The app predicted hurricane force winds across the UK, with graphics showing estimated wind speeds of 13,508mph in London.

These speeds are far in excess of any real hurricane.
