Fit2Run pair Faye and Fliss took part in a spectacular event in the Wye Valley on July 21.
Faye Hussey ran the Tintern Station Half Marathon in an impressive time of 2.31, a one-lap course, that takes you through the Valley View route areas and beyond.
This is a largely flat route, with a 50m rocky trail section and few flights of steps as the route transitions from one flat area to another.
The route is essentially an out-and-back route following the railway line from Sedbury on the outskirts of Chepstow, all the way to Tintern Station where there is a looped section. This route has 2km in the tunnel which is unique in itself and lots of running along the riverside trails with a turnaround point at Tintern Old Station.
Meanwhile, Felicity King opted for the 10k and she ran this in a speedy time of 1.05.
