TEIGNMOUTH Golf Club hosted the Welland Cup on Friday 26 amongst its members, with 10 pairs entering.

These pairs were mixed and it saw a culmination of the ladies’ section and the seniors’ section.

Clive Garbett and Natasha Waggett led the field at the end of play, beating the other nine pairs thanks to a solid score of 37 points, which is the equivalent of one under par.

The winning duo are pictured along with the ladies nearest the pin winner Sarah Plunkett and the men’s nearest the pin winner Graham Newman.

Alongside this victorious quartet are Ladies’ Captain Hannah Stephens and Seniors’ Captain David Anderson, all six of them standing around the beloved centenary stone at Teignmouth GC.
