DAVID Anderson, the Seniors’ Captain at Teignmouth Golf Club, held his Putter charity day on Monday, October 23.
There was a very impressive field with some 53 seniors competing on the day and 40 points was the score to win it all. Dale Mason was the member at the club who racked up this tally to claim top spot.
The players were treated to a bacon roll and chips by yours truly, David, and a very commendable total of £839 was raised for the Captain's Charities.
On top of this, six players each won £20 on the tote nominating the winner Dale Mason.
Dave presented Dale with the Putter Trophy after play had concluded and then they of course handed over the prize in front of Teignmouth’s beloved Centenary Stone.
