IPPLEPEN and Plymouth Civil Service & Roborough slugged out a low-scoring tie.

Ipplepen were all out for 94 with runs for Noah Sutton (27) and skipper Adam Peters (26) – and not a lot from anyone else!

Matt Trevorrow (3-16) took the first three wickets to fall – as well as running-out Marcus Green – and Paul Butson (4-21) hastened Pens’ demise lower down.

Civil crept from 39 for two to 47 for six in reply – Jasim Ismail getting his head down for 21 off 41 balls – and were in sniffing distance of victory.

Warrick Green (3-13) gave Pens hope by dismissing Ismail, but skipper Trevorrow (12) and Butson (9no) got the target down to two to win with two wickets left. Then Warrick Green sent back Trevorrow.

Mo Ali, the next man in, was caught first ball having a slog at Green. Butson and last man Jamie Higgins took a single to level it. Marcus Green, bowling at the other end from his son, tied the game by trapping Higgins lbw.
