THREE members of Bitton Park Bowling Club in Teignmouth recently scored a maximum of eight shots in one end.

This impressive feat was done whilst they were playing in the Bowls Devon Unbadged Triples Competition.

It is an achievement that is equally remarkable as it is unusual, and the Bitton triumvirate were rewarded for their endeavours.

The Bowls International website gave the three men a “Hotshot” certificate. Pictured are Darren Brealey, Colin Crowther and Peter Tetreault, who are shown receiving their certificates.
