A TRIPLES team from Ilsington Bowls Club have received the Bowls England ‘Hot Shot’ award for scoring a maximum of nine points in a single end.

The trio achieved the maximum during a recent friendly match with Chudleigh and it is certainly no mean feat.

Kate Hobbs, Ian Ansell and Graham Bragg, pictured from left to right, were the first Ilsington team to achieve the perfect nine.

Ilsington Bowls Club will celebrate their 30th anniversary in 2025 and new members are always welcome. The outdoor carpet allows play all year round and no experience is required.
