WITH a couple of popular local events last weekend, the members of BVR had a choice as to whether to run at Chudleigh on Friday or Haytor on Saturday (and a couple did both)!

The Chudleigh 5-mile race is very well-supported locally and encompasses a short loop around the town before heading out, and up, around the country lanes before dropping back into the High Street and the finish line.

BVR finishers were Rob White 48:31, Freddy Sellwood 49:11, Emma Start 49:13, Grainne Cole 52:12, Mary Cornish 52:16, Beccy Kennedy-Bruyneels 52:32, Ilona Baughan 53:53, Richard Gray 59:52 and Maureen Fitzpatrick 1:11:53.

There was also a great turnout for the Haytor Heller and the fantastic efforts were rewarded by delicious cake at the end.
