The woman who was involved in a road traffic incident in Dawlish last week has sadly died.

Emergency services were called to reports of a collision involving a blue Peugeot and a mobility scooter on the A379 Exeter Road in Dawlish at around 11.55am last Wednesday (November 13).

A local woman in her 80s was taken to Derriford Hospital and has since passed away as a result of injuries sustained in the collision.

The driver of the car was not injured.

Police are appealing for any witnesses that have not already spoken to them, but who may have seen the collision, or have dash camera footage, to contact police either online or by calling 101, quoting reference number 50240287671.
