A NEWTON Abbot tyre dealership that closed in January has reopened.

Buyrite Tyres closed its doors on Thursday, January 23, presumably for good.

The closure came as owner Raymond Avis eyed up retirement.

And it looked as though that was that.

However, the long-established business, started by Ray in 1977, has since re-opened its Brunel Industrial Estate shop.

The Newton Abbot dealership offers tyre installation, wheel alignment, flat tyre repairs and much more.
