THREE Dawlish artists came together to display their work for the first time as part of the annual Devon Open Studios event.

The artists, all members of Dawlish Art Group, are experienced at showing their artwork at the group’s annual exhibition but this new venture, held at the Hope Centre, was a chance to reach a wider audience.

The work of Liz Brown, Jenny Norman and Sheila Dangar was on show at the centre for two weeks.

Sheila said: ‘We were keen to put our work up for people to look at and it was a bucket list thing really.

‘We have been really pleased with the response.

‘The building is beautiful and everyone who came has been impressed and you can’t get better than that.’

Mayor of Dawlish Lin Goodman-Bradbury went to give her support.

She said: ‘This is a beautiful venue to show some incredible work.’
