An art, craft and gift shop is opening in a bigger property in Teignmouth’s Arts Quarter this weekend.
Devon Sand Box, which sells local artwork, sea glass, jewellery, knitwear and other crafts, is moving out of the Spymass Gallery and will reopen at 8 Somerset Place on Saturday (November 9).
The larger premises will enable Devon Sand Box to host workshops in necklace making and festive arts and crafts.
‘I’m really excited about the relocation as the shop has more space to fill with more local creations,’ said Devon Sand Box owner Dawn Head.
‘Teignmouth has been such a supportive and pivotal place for my business. I have an uplifting community that has helped me achieve my dream and I have the beaches right on my doorstep which supplies me with the shells and sea glass that I put into my artwork,’ she added.
