PUPILS from a Newton Abbot primary school recently brought the festive cheer to the town’s library as they sung Christmas carols.

Pupils from Wolborough C of E Primary School made the short time to the Passmore Edwards Centre for Newton Abbot Library’s event.

Family, friends and even Father Christmas eagerly gathered to listen to the school choir’s performance.

The choir put their spin on some of the classic Christmas ballads, including Silent Night and Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer.

Elsewhere, Newton Abbot Community Shed and the local Knit and Knatter group were on hand selling their festive-themed wares.
