A hardware shop in Teignmouth is to reopen this weekend after a lengthy closure following a fire last year.
Teign Hardware on Brunswick Street has been closed since the fire on November 9.
Firefighters from Teignmouth, Dawlish and Torquay were called to the shop after a fire was spotted in a doorway.
The revamped store has been rearranged and redecorated during the four-month closure and a former storeroom has been opened up to provide additional space upstairs for homewares and gardening.
Teign Hardwares thanked customers and the community for ‘reaching out and checking in on us’ and said they ‘can’t wait’ to welcome customers back adding that ‘it feels like a fresh start’.
