A WORKSHOP fire near Buckfastleigh has mobilised nearby firefighters.

Fire control received several calls reporting an outbuilding on fire at a commercial property somewhere between Buckfast and Buckfastleigh.

Two fire engines were initially sent, however on arrival crews confirmed the building to be well alight and requested further assistance.

Another three fire engines, five in total, a water bowser and an aerial ladder platform were sent.

This fire is confirmed in a commercial garage used as a workshop.
