Drivers in and around Teignbridge will have seven National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

But motorists will be able to take some solace in the fact that all of them are only expected to cause slight delays, of under 10 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that seven closures are due to start over the next two weeks:

A38, from 8pm June 24 to 4am June 25, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 both directions Buckfastleigh to Lower Dean, lane closure for emergency barrier repairs.

A38, from 8pm June 25 to 6am June 28, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 westbound, Kennford lane closures for Devon County Council works closing the A380.

A38, from 8pm June 25 to 4am June 26, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 both directions Drumbridges, lane closure for emergency barrier repairs.

A38, from 8pm July 1 to 4am July 6, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 westbound, Chudleigh lane closure for BT works, .

A30, from 8pm July 1 to 6am July 6, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 eastbound, Alphington to M5, junction 31 carriageway closure for surveys, diversion via A377, Cowick Lane, Marsh Green Road West, Trusham Road, B3213 and A379, north to for M5 and south for A38.

A30, from 8pm July 1 to 6am July 6, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 31 exit slip road to A30 closed for surveys, diversion via A38 southbound to Kennford and return.

A38, from 8pm July 4 to 6am July 6, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 31 lane closure for surveys.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
