GET in the mood for a big band Christmas when the South Devon Big Band return to Pavilions Teignmouth for their Christmas bash.

The South Devon Big Band is a vibrant 24 piece band that was formed in 2013. Led by Neil Maya they play a selection of big band jazz and swing through to funk latin and pop tunes using four vocalists.

Their passion is to entertain their audiences with thrills, rhythms and excitement that only a big band can bring with all the classics from the likes of Glenn Miller, Count Basie and Duke Ellington.

The evening will include Moonlight Serenade, Jumpin' at the Woodside and Take the A Train, and there will be swing, latin, funk and vocal numbers from Street Life to Chattanooga Choo Choo.

The 7.30pm concert takes place on December 14. Tickets can be booked through the box office on 01626 24904 or the website www.pavilionsteignmouth.org.uk.
