A Somerset-based concert wind band will be bringing upbeats sounds to Pavilions Teignmouth next month.

The WorleWind Band was formed back in  January 2010,  when 18 enthusiastic players braved a snowstorm to attend the very first rehearsal. Now in its fifteenth year, WorleWind has some 60 committed members with both professional and amateur musicians sitting side by side and giving their time freely for the love of making music.

The past 14 years have seen over 250 public performances for the band in a wide variety of venues and with numerous repeat performance requests.

WorleWind primarily performs well known music ranging from standard swing tunes, stage and screen and popular hits from the 20th century and its   aim is very much to entertain our audiences whilst providing harmonious and sometimes challenging music for its players.
