Chris Wright was his side's hero after his late goal gave Buckland Athletic a 3-2 home win over in-form Elburton Villa.
Resurgent Villa took the lead in the 25th minute, Levi Landricombe crossing for his brother Michael to head home. However, the hosts were level within five minutes, Mike Booth sidefooting home from close-range.
Buckland took the lead shortly before half-time through a clinical finish from player-boss Antony Lynch.
Elburton levelled on the hour mark, Levi Landricombe emulating his sibling in finding the back of the net.
Both teams had chances to score before Lynch set up Wright to score at the far post to give Buckland the three points.
The victory lifts the Homers Heath club a place to sixth in the Carlsberg Peninsula South West Premier Division Table, and they have games in hand over all the other 19 sides in the division.
Only one of the other scheduled flight matches was played after games at Bodmin Town, Plymouth Parkway and Tavistock all fell victim to the weather.
In the other match, Falmouth were 2-1 winners over Camelford at Bickland Park, which keeps them third spot just three points behind Bodmin.
Tomorrow, Buckland are home to St Austell, kick-off 3pm. Bovey Tracey are home to St Blazey, kick-off 3pm.
