IT was a tough afternoon for Teignbridge Trojans on Saturday as they came up against a strong Exeter Ravens side at Rackerhayes.

The Ravens, who were playing their first game in the South West Rugby League, romped to a 74-24 victory against their Teignmouth-based visitors.

Despite a promising start from the away side, Ravens soon shifted through the gears and ran away with the encounter – the Trojans replying with some late consolations.
