FORMER Teignmouth fly-half Joe Simmonds slotted over a last-minute kick as the Exeter Chiefs secured a crucial victory over Northampton at the weekend.

Simmonds, the younger brother of England international and fellow Chief Sam, kicked two conversions to ensure the reigning champions won by a single point – 31-30.
