This Devon Junior Cup quarter final tie had been re-arranged from before Christmas, but was worth the wait for home fans as New Cross ran in six tries in a one-sided contest at Five Lanes.
The hosts, who had gone three games without a win, gave starts to Lewis Vicary, Nick Player and Simon Harris.
Ryan Wotton returned at fly half after dislocating a shoulder, and Mark Bailey made a welcome return to the second row.
New Cross played into a stiff breeze in the first half, so the ball was kept tight and some impressive rolling mauls were used to gain territory.
Number 8 Tim Prowse went close and a kick ahead to the corner just eluded Vicary before the first score arrived.
Quick ball saw Harris power through four would-be tacklers to touch down near the posts; Wotton converted.
Another forward surge gave Wotton an easy penalty, which was duly converted to leave New Cross 10-nil up at the break.
The second half saw New Cross throw the ball a bit wider, which soon paid off. Nick Player was stopped short of the line, but flanker Wes Bennett was on hand to score in the corner.
Wotton utilised the wind to pin back the visitors, who were struggling to run the ball out of defence.
The try of the match came courtesy of the front row. Jamie Halse coasted through the defensive line before offloading to fellow prop Dayne Layton, who bumped off two players before sending the ball to Wotton, who fed winger Ali Welby to go over in the corner.
New Cross were well into their stride, and a well-worked short line-out allowed Fakih to feed the charging Layton down the blindside. With the full back to beat, he realised he didn't have the pace to go around, so instead went over the top of him to dot down.
Soon after, Welby's clearing kick took a wicked bounce over the opposition winger straight into Wotton's hands for him to race over from halfway; Wotton converting.
Another kick allowed Vicary to apply pressure which forced a poor clearance. This fell straight to Welby who weaved his way through the broken defence to dive in under the sticks; Wotton again adding the extras.
Sarries did get a late consolation try when an errant pass kindly popped up for the visiting centre to score; conversion added.
Man of the match was centre Mike Clark.
In the semis, New Cross will play Dartmouth.
