THIS past week, students at NAMA Martial Arts and Combat Sports put their hard work and dedication to the test in the latest colour belt grading. From junior Taekwon-Do practitioners to our committed kickboxers, every student stepped up to demonstrate their skills, discipline, and progress.

Starting with the junior grades and 9th Kup promotions and Frazer Simpson (yellow stripe), Eban Brown (credit), Harvey Clark and Logan Abel (distinction) moved on from junior grades to the 9th Kup. Orlagh Robertson (orange stripe) meanwhile is now onto junior grade two.

For the yellow and green belt achievements, Isobel Goff, Ravi Isaac Ghani, Thomas Hamlyn-Prout, Arabella Jackson, Prudence Courteney and David Jackson went from 9th Kup to 8th Kup (yellow belt).

Also, Steven Goff is now onto 7th Kup (green stripe), as are Monty Goff, Brodie Scales & Wilf Hallet with Rowan Spiers going from 7th to 6th (green belt).

There were higher Kup achievements with Bobby Spiers, Phil Brown & Joe Spicer going from 6th Kup to 5th and Mary Neal from 3rd to 2nd (red belt).

A special mention goes to sister school, Abel Taekwon-Do, for their outstanding performances: Prudence Courteney 9th Kup to 8th Kup, Ralph Kastrinos Emery 10th Kup to Junior Grade One (Purple stripe) (Credit), Wilf Hallet 8th Kup to 7th Kup and Joe Spicer 6th Kup to 5th Kup.

Last but by no means least is the kickboxing grading success with the following students demonstrating their strength, control, and technique to earn well-deserved promotions. Well done to Leo Heasman, Eloise Seargent, Emmy Lambell, Grace Lawer, Jasper Cully & Keziah Wood.

Every student who took part in this grading displayed impressive skill, determination, and respect for the art and each individual should be proud of their progress. Congratulations to all at NAMA who graded and keep training hard!
