IN and amongst the inclement weather, all three South Devon Golf League fixtures went ahead this weekend and produced some fascinating results.

Two scores were rather one-sided whilst we also witnessed a third draw of the season, meaning all six teams have been involved in one now.

Starting with the league leaders Stover GC and they returned to winning ways, inflicting a second-consecutive 6-1 defeat for Torquay in the process.

Torquay were beaten by this same scoreline in their last outing against Churston and this has been repeated, dropping them down to the bottom spot in the standings.

Dainton Park have vacated 6th and move up to 4th thanks to a 3.5-3.5 draw with Churston on home soil.

They are on the same points tally as Teignmouth now but still have that game in hand which could certainly come in handy, and could even help them chase down The Warren.

The Warren put Teignmouth to the sword and won 6-1 as their topsy-turvy form continues.
