NEWTON Abbot Spurs’ cold streak continued last Saturday with a 2-1 defeat against Axminster Town, writes Josh Goodman.

Spurs took an early lead as Toby Pullman pounced on a mistake from the visiting goalkeeper and put away his 16th league goal for the season.

Craig Veal had Axminster level by the break with his 21st of the season and the win was sealed by Joe Chamberlain.
