NEWTON Abbot Spurs are at home in the South West Peninsula League on Saturday, October 19, with Torridgeside AFC coming to town.
The following day, the 20th, will then see a charity football match take place at The Rec, for the Stanley Beau Foundation.
Spurs’ veterans will go toe-to-toe with Sharpy’s Veterans, the latter representing the town centre’s sports bar for a good cause.
As opposed to a traditional entry fee, any money paid on the gate will go towards the charity of the day.
There is something for all of the family there so even if you aren’t interested in the match itself, a bouncy castle will keep the children entertained along with food and sweet stalls, a bar and a raffle for everyone.
Gates open at midday for a 2pm kick-off so get down to the club and enjoy a fun day for all.
