EVERY summer, the ladies at Kingsteignton Bowls Club play an annual competition in honour of a previous Lady Captain, Kath Adams, who sadly passed away some 6 years ago.

On Friday, August 30, with the sun shining, the ladies played a singles format in a ‘round robin’ of six ends for each individual game.

Points are counted and countback employed too if necessary, until the final two are left standing.

This year, the finalists were current Lady Captain Margaret Sole and Lizzy Maynard. There were some really good bowls being played and the watching members were suitably entertained.
