YOUNGSTERS from a Teignmouth primary school helped out a regular beach clean.

The children from Mill Lane Primary School proved to be ‘keen little pickers’, according to organisers. 

They helped pick up rubbish from the Back Beach. 

Posters made by the pupils about their efforts were displayed in the windows of a town centre estate agents. 

And they were treated to ice creams provided by ike Jackman to thank them for their hard work. 

Teignmouth beach cleans are run by a group of volunteers and take place on the last Sunday of each month, volunteers can meet at 11am by the Lighthouse.
