FOUR people were injured in a road accident on the edge of Teignbridge over the weekend.

All the casualties were taken to hospital by land ambulance after the collision on the A30 between Fingle Glen Golf Course and Alphington.

Yesterday’s (November 17) crash happened just after 7pm on the eastbound carriageway of the busy road.

One injured woman had to be released from her vehicle by firefighters using cutting gear and small tools.

Fire crews from Chagford, Danes Castle and Middlemoor attended the scene.
