A woman in her 70s has died after falling from the sea wall while on her mobility scooter.

Police were notified at around 2:30pm on Saturday July 13 of concerns about the welfare of the woman who came off the sea wall near Dawlish Warren.

Emergency services attended the scene and the road near Lady’s Mile was closed while multiple emergency services assisted. But, sadly, the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
