A CHUDLEIGH man is set to lose his locks on the evening of Friday, April 20.

Dreadlocked Mark Waldron, known locally as Wally, is being shorn of long-time locks, which he has grown over the past 20 years, to raise money for the charities Mind and Rowcroft.

The cutting is set to take place at Chudleigh’s Bishop Lacey Inn from 6.30pm and Wally is hoping to raise £2,000 from the event.

Said Mark: ‘I’ve made the decision to part with my dreadlocks to raise money for the two charities as they are both very close to my heart.’
