WITH His Majesty's Coronation right around the corner, communities are set to come together in celebration, but what can one in Bishopsteignton look forward to?

Bishopsteignton WI will be hosting a Coronation Cream Tea from 3pm at Bishopsteignton Village Hall.

Tickets, which cost £5, can be purchased from the Supply Store and Pharmacy.

Live screenings of the Coronation will be available in the Village Hall, Ring of Bells and the Cockhaven Arms.

Fore Street will be closed from 1pm for a street party.

While tables and chairs will be provided, persons looking to attend are asked to bring their own picnic food, tablecloth and crockery.

Drinks will be available to purchase at cost.

The Coronation Pizza will be unveiled at the Ring of Bells between 5pm and 7pm, and the Liberty Sisters will perform also.

A special 'Casino Royale' evening in aid of 1st Bishopsteignton Scout Group at Chao Nan, Forder Lane.

The event is £10 per person and this includes £10 worth of chips.

Tickets are available from the Village Shop.

There will be canapés and a drinks bar, which will be cash only.

The 'Big Help Out Litter Pick' will be taking place from 10am.

Prospective helpers are asked to meet at Michaels Field car park to collect equipment.
