The planned mini-adventures event due to take place at Haytor’s Dartmoor National Park Visitor Centre tomorrow (Thursday 4 April 4) has been cancelled. ‘The forecast is for heavy rain and wind and while we all know what Dartmoor's weather is like, we don't want our mini-adventure to become a major disaster!’ said a spokesperson for Dartmoor National Park   ‘We're disappointed not to be able to go ahead with the activity-packed day just now but there's plenty to look forward to in the months ahead. In the meantime, self-guided activities are running from all three visitor centres throughout the rest of the school holidays.
