A MASS of Christians from several of Newton Abbot’s churches came together on Good Friday for the Walk of Witness.
Gathering in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, persons with faith amassed at Asda before setting off toward the first stop, Golden Lion Square.
The procession, led by the cross, surrounded the cross bearer, who gave a short reading.
On rested legs, the procession moved on to Market Walk, whereupon a member of Newton Abbot Parish Church gave a reading to an attentive audience.
Sallying out once again, those present proceeded onto Lloyds Bank, and then toward the indian restaurant, Naz.
Upon reaching the final stop at Avenue Methodist Church, wanderers indulged in refreshments.
