AN anonymous donation from a local benefactor will enable a Teignbridge town council to offer warm meals to those in need this Easter.

The donation has allowed Buckfastleigh Town Council to extend its ‘Warm Meals’ initiative to include an Easter meal; prior to the donation, the council would provide warm meals at Christmas time.

But thanks to the additional funds, the council can provide an Easter meal for those who are experiencing financial hardship.

The frozen meals, which are being supplied by Wiltshire Farm Foods, will be delivered on Thursday, March 28.

Persons will have a choice of either roast lamb, fisherman’s pie or vegetarian lasagne and either apple pie or lemon sponge.

Let the council know your name, address and phone number and the number of meals you would like from the above options. 

You must place your order by Wednesday, March 20.
