VILLAGERS in Shaldon turned out in force for the Coronation Street Party yesterday.

Organised by Shaldon Parish Council, the event was blessed with good weather.

Fore Street was closed for the afternoon, until 8pm, so villagers could set up their tables and party food for the celebrations. 

Commemorative mugs were available to all children who live in the village. 

The parish council set up a Just Giving page to help fund the event.
