VILLAGERS and guests from further afield were out in force at the weekend as Ogwell hosted its 50th summer fair.
Hordes of people flocked to the village green on Saturday for the annual event which was packed full of fun activities and live music.
A range of classic cars were on display for visitors to cast their eyes over before taking part in a spot of welly wanging.
Pet owners battled it out in a fun dog competition. Categories included dog with the most appealing eyes and pooch the judges would most like to take home.
Musical treats came from the Tano Taiko drummers, who were helped out by pupils from Canada Hill Primary School, and Coombeshead Academy’s Soul Band.
Last year’s welly wanging champion, Barnaby Scott, was presented with a coveted golden welly trophy.
A spokesman said after the event: ‘Thanks to everyone who helped out and those who turned up and made it such an amazing day.’
