Police and fire crews were called to a crash by the roadside garage near Lamerton yesterday afternoon, Thursday, December 21.

Emergency crews were called at 4.50pm to the crossroads beside Lamerton Stores, the former Carrs Garage on the B3362.

A car had overturned, and the driver, a woman, was trapped.

She was freed by fire crews and checked at the scene by ambulance crews. She had minor injuries but did not need hospital treatment.
